The Wärtsilä PAAE164439 (CCM-20 / 46WCCM20) is a 24 VDC cylinder-control module that executes per-cylinder injection, actuator and acquisition logic for UNIC-controlled Wärtsilä engines, talking to the MCM/ESM over the internal bus in a 0–55 °C IP55 cabinet format. It is the discontinued but field-proven mid-tier control node between the main controller and the cylinder actuators, now succeeded by CCM-30 hardware.

Native System Compatibility

Central control module for Wärtsilä UNIC unified engine control system; compatible with WECS-9500 / WECS-9520 marine engine control platforms. Interoperable with Wärtsilä IAS / IAS-XT ship integrated alarm-monitoring system and ProTouch PCS propulsion control system. Supports data exchange with third-party vessel SCADA and monitoring platforms via standard bus interfaces. Works cooperatively with cabinet-mounted modules including ESM-20, MCM-11 and FCM-20 through internal CAN-bus.

Configuration & Service Software

Official Wärtsilä dedicated service and diagnostic tool for parameter setup, logic configuration, fault log reading and firmware upgrade. Connection is established through RS-485 service port. Embedded onboard firmware stores application logic, system setpoints and historical fault records. Parameter modification is restricted to authorised Wärtsilä service software; generic third-party configuration software is not supported.
