Interface Assignment & Layout

The IS400TCATH1ADC eliminates complex manual point-to-point hardwiring through an organized, pluggable system:

Field Terminals: Equipped with 120 pluggable Euro-style box terminal connection points. These terminal blocks are divided into three clean structural groups on the left margin of the board (organized as 48 terminals, 24 terminals, and 48 terminals).

Grounding Configuration: A dedicated hardware jumper pin configuration is located next to each 4-20 mA input block.This allows field technicians to easily select whether the input return path runs floating (open) or tied directly to local system ground. The factory default setting is floating.

PCAA Module Linkage: Connected directly to the I/O processors via pairs of high-density 68-pin cables. The ports are uniquely assigned based on IONet redundancy: PR1/PR2 are routed to the R-channel PCAA, PS1/PS2 to the S-channel PCAA, and PT1/PT2 to the T-channel PCAA.
