DS200TCDAG1BDB GE Input and Output Circuit Board

The GE DS200TCDAG1BDB is a TCDA discrete (contact) I/O board for the Speedtronic Mark V turbine control system, interfacing field dry-contact or 24 VDC digital inputs from DTBA/DTBB terminal boards and driving relay outputs to TCRA terminal boards via IONET-addressable onboard logic with optical isolation. With jumper-configured IONET node ID, stall timer and test enable, plus LED diagnostics and TMR-compatible architecture, it serves as the hardened on/off signal gateway for turbine protection interlocks, valve solenoid control and emergency-stop loops.

GE DS200TCDAG1BDB Commissioning Steps

Pre-power Static Inspection

Install the board into the specified Mark V rack slot and inspect the PCB for damage and loose components.

Configure onboard jumpers as required while keeping factory test jumpers intact.

Check cables and wiring for tight connections, test power insulation to avoid short circuits, and ensure cabinet single-point grounding with resistance ≤4Ω.

Power-on Initial Self-check

Power on the rack slowly; steady green LEDs indicate normal initialization, while flashing red LEDs represent hardware faults.

Measure backplane voltages (+5V, ±15VDC, 24VDC) with a multimeter.

Access the Mark V HMI to confirm normal Q-Bus communication without alarms.

Communication Debugging

Check real-time data exchange between the board and R/S/T triple-redundant main boards via Q-Bus.

Connect a maintenance device to the RS232 port to check PROM parameters and offline programs.

Ensure smooth, delay-free data transmission with peripheral signal boards.

I/O Channel Calibration & Functional Test

Test digital inputs by simulating 24VDC signals to align HMI feedback; manually trigger relay outputs to check contact performance.

Complete zero and span calibration for 4–20mA and voltage analog channels.

Manually trigger protective conditions to test interlock and trip response speed.

System Joint Debugging

Connect the board to sensors, actuators and the ETS system, and simulate startup, load regulation and load shedding.

Monitor signal stability and anti-interference ability, and adjust parameters to resolve logic conflicts.

Stable Operation Inspection & Acceptance

Carry out a 72-hour no-load test with regular status records; repeatedly simulate typical faults to verify protection reliability.

Clear temporary faults, archive commissioning records and complete acceptance.

Post-commissioning Check

Secure all connectors and organize wiring; file jumper settings and calibration records for future maintenance.
