Bently Nevada 3500/22 288055-01 Standard Wiring & Connection Method
1. Backplane Power Wiring
Insert the 3500/22 module into the exclusive RIM slot next to the rack power supply; the backplane automatically supplies -24VDC power and internal bus communication without additional power wiring;
Tighten the front panel fixing screws to ensure reliable electrical contact with the backplane.
2. Ethernet Communication Wiring
10/100Base-TX electrical port: Connect shielded twisted-pair cable to industrial switch for connection with System 1 host computer;
100Base-FX fiber port: Use multimode fiber cable for long-distance anti-interference transmission in strong electromagnetic environments;
Separate communication cables from high-current power cables to avoid signal interference.

3. OK Fault Relay Wiring
Relay terminals connect to external PLC or alarm annunciator; define normally open/normally closed contact according to on-site alarm logic;
Use rated load cables for relay wiring to avoid contact burnout.
4. Debugging Interface Wiring
Front USB-B port: Connect to configuration computer via dedicated cable for 3500 rack parameter programming and firmware upgrade;
Rear RS232 console port: Reserved for factory professional debugging only.
5. Wiring Precautions
All wiring operations must be performed after cutting off the power of the entire 3500 rack;
Communication shielding cables adopt single-point grounding at the cabinet end;
After installation, set the unique rack address before system power-on configuration.
Bently Nevada 3500/22 288055-01 Product Advantages
1. Integrated dual-function design combining rack management and high-speed transient data collection, eliminating the need for an independent TDXnet communication processor, saving cabinet space;
2. Supports full steady-state vibration data and high-speed waveform transient data synchronous acquisition, meeting advanced predictive fault diagnosis requirements of System 1 software;
3. Hot-swappable module structure, replacement will not interrupt the normal operation of the entire 3500 monitoring rack;
4. Independent rack address coding, supporting multi-rack networking and unified management of large-scale monitoring systems;
5. Built-in hardware OK fault relay, directly output rack abnormal signals to DCS/SCADA for remote alarm monitoring;
6. Dual Ethernet (electrical + optional optical) communication, strong anti-electromagnetic interference, stable long-distance data transmission;
7. Complete backward compatibility with all 3500 series M-type monitoring modules, convenient for system upgrade and reconstruction;
8. Global Baker Hughes official technical support and long-term spare parts supply, widely recognized by international classification societies and industrial standards.
