Auxiliary Electromagnetic Actuator Rated Voltage: DC 24V
Actuator Rated Operating Current: 0.75A, maximum peak current 1.2A
Control Hydraulic Working Pressure: 0.6MPa ~ 1.0MPa hydraulic oil supply
Hydraulic Oil Viscosity Requirement: ISO VG32 anti-wear hydraulic oil
Governor Output Torque: Rated 16 N·m (12 ft-lb)
Speed Adjustable Range: 4000 RPM ~ 6600 RPM
Speed Droop Adjustment Range: 2% fixed droop characteristic
Response Time: Full stroke adjustment response ≤ 0.25 second
Self-contained Oil Sump Capacity: 0.7L built-in lubrication oil tank

Woodward 8516-040 TG-13 Wiring & Installation Connection Instructions
1. DC 24V Remote Electromagnetic Actuator Wiring
Two terminals on side electromagnetic actuator: Terminal 1 = +24VDC positive pole; Terminal 2 = 0V negative pole
Recommend 1.5mm² shielded twisted wire for wiring; cable shielding single-end grounded inside turbine control cabinet
Strictly forbid positive-negative polarity reversal, which will cause actuator coil burnout and remote speed adjustment failure
2. Control Hydraulic Oil Pipeline Connection
Inlet hydraulic port connects external 0.6–1.0MPa pressure control oil source pipeline; outlet oil port returns to hydraulic station oil tank
Pipeline adopts high-pressure seamless steel tubing, thread connection sealed with high temperature resistant PTFE tape to prevent hydraulic oil leakage
Install filter element before oil inlet port to block impurity particles and prevent internal governor valve core jamming
3. Turbine Main Shaft Drive Mechanical Connection
Governor bottom input drive shaft is connected with turbine main shaft via flexible coupling; align coaxiality strictly to avoid eccentric vibration damage
Drive shaft rotation direction of this model: Clockwise (CW) rotation
Coupling installation must reserve appropriate axial clearance to prevent thermal expansion axial jacking damage to governor internal structure
4. Built-in Oil Sump Filling & Maintenance Connection
Top oil filling port injects ISO VG32 hydraulic oil; bottom drain screw is used for regular oil drainage and replacement
Oil level observation window must maintain liquid level between upper and lower scale marks to guarantee internal component lubrication

Woodward 8516-040 TG-13 Core Product Advantages
1. Pure Mechanical-Hydraulic Highly Reliable Structure: Free from electronic component aging, power supply fluctuation and electromagnetic interference failure risk, extremely low maintenance frequency for long-term continuous operation.
2. High Output Driving Torque: 16N·m powerful output can directly drive large-stroke steam regulating valves without intermediate hydraulic amplifier accessories.
3. Integrated Self-Lubricating Oil Sump: Independent enclosed oil tank avoids external centralized hydraulic oil supply pipeline layout, greatly simplifying field piping construction.
4. Weatherproof & Explosion-Proof Industrial Grade: NEMA A fully sealed casing plus Class I Div.2 explosion certification, applicable for flammable gas & oil industrial dangerous working sites.
5. Precise Manual Screw Speed Setting: Top screw adjustment structure enables on-site fine-tuning of rated rotating speed, accurate speed calibration without professional debugging equipment.
6. Fixed Stable Speed Droop Characteristic: 2% droop design guarantees stable parallel operation for multiple turbine units, avoiding speed drifting during load fluctuation.
7. Wide Speed Regulation Band: Covers 4000–6600 high-speed interval, perfectly matching industrial high-speed pump and compressor driving turbines.
8. Strong Environmental Adaptability: Stable operation under high temperature, dusty, oily industrial field conditions, long service life for unattended equipment.
