Pre-commissioning Hardware Inspection Complete cut-out mounting within the control cabinet and secure retention clips, and inspect the front-panel IP65 sealing integrity. Examine 24 VDC power wiring to rule out short-circuit and reverse-polarity hazards. Verify terminations for Ethernet, POWERLINK, CAN and RS485 interfaces. Ensure adequate ventilation clearance around the enclosure; observe ESD protection guidelines whenever handling the unit.

Initial Power-on and Boot-AR State Apply 24 VDC supply voltage. The panel boots to the factory-default Boot-AR minimal system. This limited environment only supports basic Ethernet communication for project downloading, with full runtime functions and user applications inactive at this stage.

Engineering Environment Preparation Start B&R Automation Studio and install the dedicated hardware support package for Power Panel C70.
