Honeywell 05701-A-0550 Technical Specifications
Electrical Input & Output
System 57 Architecture Support: While the 05701-A-0550 is primarily a mechanical maintenance and calibration key kit, it interfaces directly with System 57 components that process 4-20mA analog inputs, mV catalytic bead sensor signals, and discrete relay outputs. It features no active onboard electronic power requirements, running passively upon physical insertion into the module frame.

Honeywell 05701-A-0550 Key Product Advantages
Optimized Circuit Protection: Eliminates the risk of twisting or uneven force application common when using generic tools, ensuring that the heavy-duty backplane pins of the control cards remain completely undamaged during hot-swapping or servicing.
Seamless Accessibility: Includes specific features engineered to pop open the clear front panel perspex covers easily, giving maintenance teams immediate access to channel tag names, color-coded diagnostic labels (such as Grey/Blue for Catalytic units and Violet for 4-20mA loops), and calibration parameters.
Tailored for System 57 Lifecycle: Purpose-designed to fit perfectly alongside the 5701 and 5704 series configurations, reducing down-time during critical gas loop calibration cycles.
Rugged and Durable Construction: Fabricated using industrial-grade components meant to withstand the daily wear and tear of maintenance routines in chemical processing plants, oil rigs, and manufacturing facilities.

Honeywell 05701-A-0550 Wiring & Connection Method
Connection Type: Direct plug-in interface. The kit works directly with the built-in mechanical extraction slots located immediately below the "SELECT" push-button on the System 57 controller cards.
Operation Method: To utilize the tool, the operator must first unfasten the two primary card-securing screws (one located at the top and one at the bottom of the targeted card module). The extraction tool is then hooked securely into the designated extraction slot, enabling a controlled, linear, and gentle extraction pull that eliminates bending or pins damage to the rear backplane bus connectors.
