Pre-Wiring Preparation
Carry out Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and disconnect cabinet power. Wear a grounded ESD wrist strap. Take photos of original jumper layouts and cable arrangements for reference, and prepare engineering schematics and signal allocation tables.
Backplane Installation
Insert the module into the specified rack slot and secure it tightly to achieve stable 28 VDC backplane power supply (operating range: 18–32 VDC). Do not apply excessive force to prevent bent backplane pins.
Inter-Board Ribbon Cable Wiring
JQ (50-pin): Connect to the DS200DTBA terminal board for digital contact input signals;
JR (50-pin): Connect to the DS200DTBB terminal board for field discrete input signals;
JO1 & JO2: Wire to TCRA boards for digital output driving signals;
JX1, JX2 (3-pin): Daisy-chain IONET communication cables to realize data interaction with core processor boards.
Align the notch of ribbon connectors correctly and avoid reverse connection.
Field Signal Wiring Specifications
All field discrete signals are wired to DTBA/DTBB terminal boards instead of directly connecting to the TCDAH1BHD board.
Digital Input: 24 VDC contact signals including interlock status, fault feedback, limit switch signals and trip contacts; polarity must be strictly observed.
Digital Output: 24 VDC driving signals for relays, solenoid valves and alarm equipment; the maximum continuous current of each channel is 180 mA.
Keep signal cables separated from high-power cables. All shielded cables shall adopt single-point grounding to mitigate electromagnetic interference.
Onboard Jumper Setup Before Power-Up
Configure 8 onboard jumpers (JP1–JP8) to set input polarity, signal debounce time and fault detection modes in accordance with site drawings. Ensure jumper settings comply with control logic demands.
Post-Wiring Inspection
Check that all ribbon cables are fully locked. Inspect terminals for tight connections, short circuits and open circuits. Remove any conductive foreign objects on the PCB.
Restore power gradually and measure the 28 VDC backplane voltage.
Perform channel loop testing: input simulated discrete signals, confirm consistent signal readings on Mark V Toolbox and test every output channel.
Archive wiring diagrams and jumper configuration records for maintenance.
Critical Warnings
Hot swapping of the board under energized conditions is prohibited.
Improper wiring of JQ/JR will cause signal loss and abnormal protection logic.
The load current of each digital output channel cannot exceed 180 mA to prevent circuit damage.
