Basic Profile
Model: 173688-01-20-12-CN
Product Classification: 3300XL 8mm Eddy Current Displacement Probe
Compatible Monitoring System: Bently Nevada 3300 Series & 3500 Series Vibration Monitoring Platform
Detection Principle: Eddy current induction, applied for rotor vibration measurement, axial position monitoring, eccentricity detection and key phase signal pickup
Input Specifications
Power Supply Input
This probe is a passive sensor without independent external power supply; high-frequency AC excitation power is supplied by matched 3300XL preamplifier.
Physical Measurement Input
Measured object: clearance between probe tip and metal target wheel on rotating shaft; linear effective measuring range: 0.25mm ~ 2.25mm.
Target requirements: minimum valid target diameter ≥21mm; ferromagnetic metal target is mandatory.
Environmental Input Parameters
Continuous operating temperature range: -35℃ ~ +177℃; short-duration peak temperature up to 200℃ (continuous working limit: 5 hours).
Dynamic Frequency Input
Adaptable dynamic signal frequency range: 0Hz ~ 12kHz, applicable to high-speed rotating machinery vibration acquisition.
Mechanical Load Input
Maximum tensile load resistance at cable root: 220N.
Output Specifications
Analog Electrical Signal Output
High-frequency inductive analog signal is transmitted to preamplifier via integrated 20-meter shielded cable; standard calibration sensitivity: 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil).
Linear Performance Indicators
Full-scale linearity error ≤ ±1.5%FS; zero-point thermal drift ≤ 200mV/100K; sensitivity thermal drift <2%/100K.
Physical Interface Output
ClickLoc miniature self-locking coaxial connector with gold-plated contacts, used for connection with extension cables and preamplifiers.
Transmission Restriction
Fixed integrated cable length: 20m; only compatible with preamplifiers designed for 20-meter total system cable length.
Note: No direct standard analog voltage/current output for DCS and PLC systems; usable linear regulated voltage signals can only be obtained after preamplifier signal conditioning.
Pre-Inspection
Inspect the probe tip, integral cable and ClickLoc connector for defects. Ensure the shaft target is smooth, clean, ferromagnetic, with a minimum effective diameter of 21mm.
Mechanical Positioning
Install the probe into the mounting bore. Maintain perpendicular alignment between the probe tip and shaft surface with angular deviation within 2°. Slightly fasten the lock nut to allow fine tuning.
Electrical Connection
Connect the probe to the matching extension cable, then wire the extension cable to the 3300XL preamplifier. Supply rated -24VDC power to the preamplifier.
Gap Calibration
Slowly adjust probe insertion depth while monitoring DC output voltage via multimeter. Stabilize the output at -10VDC (1.27mm gap, linear mid-range position).
Lock Fixing
Secure the probe body in place and fully tighten the lock nut. Re-measure the voltage to confirm no obvious signal drift after fastening.
Post-Installation Check
Route and arrange cables properly without squeezing or bending stress. Implement single-point grounding at the preamplifier end. Confirm stable sensor signal prior to formal system commissioning.
