Input Technical Parameters

Power Supply Input: Supports universal industrial power supply input, including AC 85V to 265V and DC 88V to 250V wide-range voltage input. It can withstand short-term voltage fluctuations and transient surges of power grid systems, adapting to unstable power supply conditions of on-site substation control power.

Analog Signal Input: Equipped with multi-channel high-precision current and voltage analog input interfaces, matching standard CT and PT secondary signal output of power systems. RED670 ABB Wiring Method

The ABB RED670 adopts rear fixed terminal block wiring design with clear functional partition, including power supply wiring area, analog signal wiring area, digital control wiring area, trip output wiring area and communication wiring area, realizing standardized and standardized on-site wiring construction.

For power supply wiring, connect the substation control power supply to the dedicated power input terminals according to AC or DC power supply type, confirm the correct voltage range and firm wiring, and configure overvoltage and undervoltage protection accessories as required to ensure stable power supply for the device.

For analog signal wiring, connect CT and PT secondary signal lines to the analog input terminals in strict accordance with phase sequence and polarity specifications, use shielded cables for wiring, and do a good job of grounding treatment to avoid electromagnetic interference affecting signal sampling accuracy. For digital signal wiring, connect on-site switch status and interlock signals to digital input terminals to complete equipment status signal acquisition.

For trip and alarm output wiring, connect relay output terminals to circuit breaker trip loops and on-site alarm devices respectively, check the output loop insulation and conduction performance to ensure reliable action of protection output. For communication wiring, select Ethernet or optical fiber communication mode according to the upper monitoring system requirements, complete cable connection and protocol parameter matching debugging.

After all wiring is completed, conduct comprehensive circuit inspection, insulation test and signal simulation test, calibrate protection parameters, and perform trial operation to confirm that the device’s protection, monitoring and communication functions operate normally.
