8200-1301 Woodward Wiring Method & Installation Instructions

8200-1301 Woodward Wiring Method & Installation Instructions

Pre-wiring Precautions

1. The module contains static-sensitive electronic components. Static discharge protection must be done before wiring and installation to avoid component damage.

2. Cut off the total power supply of the control system before operation, and confirm no residual voltage in the circuit to ensure construction safety.

3. Only one frequency matching switch can be turned on during parameter setting to match the MPU sensor frequency, and multiple switches are prohibited from being turned on at the same time.

Main Wiring Steps

1. Power Wiring: Connect industrial AC 88–132 Vac/88–264 Vac or DC 90–150 Vdc power supply to the dedicated power terminal of the module, distinguish positive and negative poles and AC zero-fire terminals, and fix the wiring terminals firmly.

2. Signal Wiring: Access 4–20 mA current signal or 1–5 Vdc voltage analog signal according to the on-site control requirements, connect the external speed sensor signal line to the MPU frequency input terminal.

3. Communication Wiring: Connect the fieldbus or proprietary bus communication line to the module communication interface for data interaction with DCS system or upper computer.

4. Control Output Wiring: Connect the equipment start-stop, speed regulation and protection linkage circuit to the module logic output terminal to realize automatic control and emergency protection functions.

5. Fixed Installation: Fix the module on the standard industrial control cabinet guide rail through rack-mounted structure, check the tightness of all wiring, and confirm no virtual connection or short circuit.

Post-wiring Debugging

After completing the wiring, switch to configuration mode for I/O locking and parameter initialization setting, then switch to operation mode to test the equipment start-stop, speed regulation and signal transmission functions, and finally enter service mode to complete precision calibration to ensure the control accuracy meets the operating requirements.
