1. Pre-Wiring Requirements
Power down the Mark VI rack; wear anti-static wristband during handling.
Use shielded twisted pair cables; separate analog wiring from high voltage cables.
Cable shield single-point grounding at cabinet earth bar (avoid double-end grounding).
Set channel jumpers corresponding to transmitter type prior to wiring.

4. Terminal Definition Note
Each AI/AO channel consists of positive and negative terminals.

5. Internal Connection
Connect J1 DB37 to analog processor board with original shielded flat ribbon cable. Do not alter or extend the cable.
6. Jumper Setting Rules
Jumper Short = 4–20mA Current Input
Jumper Open = ±10V Voltage Input
Incorrect jumper configuration causes measurement failure or channel damage.
7. Post-Wiring Commissioning
Check for short circuits between positive and negative terminals.
Power on rack, run Toolbox diagnostics to eliminate open-loop/overrange alarms.
Perform signal injection test (4mA/12mA/20mA) for calibration.
Verify stable analog output operation.
