The 1797-PS2N2 power module adopts a stable DC power input design with a wide operating voltage range of 19 VDC to 32 VDC, which is standardized for 24 VDC industrial power supply systems, perfectly matching conventional field industrial power distribution standards. The module supports a maximum input current of 3.1 A and a peak maximum input power of 55 W, providing sufficient power margin for stable long-term operation of internal circuits and external field devices. It allows an AC ripple voltage ratio of no more than 5%, which can effectively resist power waveform interference and voltage fluctuation generated by industrial field equipment operation. In addition, the module is equipped with dual independent input terminal interfaces, which fully supports redundant power supply wiring schemes. This redundant design effectively avoids system power failure risks caused by single power supply circuit failure, greatly improving the overall power supply reliability and system operational stability of field control equipment.

Intrinsically Safe Output Characteristics

This power supply module is configured with 4 completely independent and galvanically isolated intrinsically safe (IS) output channels, achieving electrical isolation between channels and between internal and external circuits to eliminate cross-interference between field loops. Each single output channel provides a stable rated output power of 8.5 W, with a comprehensive total output power of 34 W, which can stably supply power for various low-power intrinsically safe field instruments and detection equipment. In terms of safety parameters, the open-circuit output voltage (Uo) is controlled below 9.5 VDC, and the short-circuit output current (Io) is limited to less than 1 A. Strict energy limitation parameters are adopted for IIC hazardous area applications, with maximum external capacitance Co less than 500 nF and maximum external inductance Lo less than 8 μH, which fully meets the intrinsically safe explosion-proof standards for dangerous industrial environments.

Each output channel supports a maximum bidirectional cable loop resistance of less than 0.1 Ω, adapting to on-site wiring requirements of different distances and ensuring no obvious voltage drop or signal distortion during power transmission. Most importantly, every output channel is equipped with an independent intrinsically safe energy limiting protection mechanism, which can automatically limit energy output in case of circuit overload, short circuit or abnormal faults. It effectively prevents spark generation and high-temperature hazards, ensuring safe and reliable operation of equipment in flammable and explosive industrial hazardous areas.
